Experiment
An experiment: what if reading felt more editorial?
Not every experiment ships. But some questions are important enough to explore in public, including whether a more editorial reading experience improves focus and return behavior.
The hypothesis
Many saving tools are functional, but not necessarily inviting. We are testing whether a calmer, more editorial surface makes people more likely to return to their reading library.
What we are observing
- Do people start saved reading sessions more often?
- Do they stay longer in a focused reading mode?
- Do they revisit older saved texts more frequently?
Why it matters
Product question
If read-later only saves efficiently but does not invite people back, the real value stops halfway.
